On the day, we invited Yoichi Takahashi, the author of Captain Tsubasa, and many members of the press, including local media, to attend.

At the beginning of the event, Professor Yoichi Takahashi

"I am extremely pleased that this collaboration between Captain Tsubasa and the shopping district of Katsushika, where I was born and raised, has come to fruition.

Summers in Japan are very hot, so I hope that eating and drinking these collaborative products will help you feel better.

I also think that there are many inbound customers from overseas.

We would like to ask for your help in spreading the word about this event so that we can reach these people as well."

He greeted me with, ``Thank you.''

In addition, at the Patisserie Kotobuki collaboration menu tasting event,

"I realized that mango and matcha really go well together.

There is mango in the cake, which goes perfectly with the matcha."

"Misugi Jun's Heart Mousse"

"At first I thought it might be a little sweet, but it had a nice sour taste and a refreshing aftertaste."

"Hyuga Kojiro's Tiger Shot Mousse"

"It looks like it's packed with chocolate."

In the question and answer session that followed

This collaborative event will be held in your hometown, Katsushika Ward. What are your thoughts on it?

"They came up with menu items that made the most of the personalities of my characters and developed some fantastic products.

I hope many people will enjoy it."

Please try it and let us know what you think.

"I tried the shortcake, and it was very elaborate, with a sense of downtown artisan spirit.

I would love for everyone to try it."

Captain Tsubasa is a series with fans all over the world. This summer, the World Athletics Championships will be held in Tokyo, and Katsushika Ward is located exactly halfway between Narita Airport and Haneda Airport. Many tourists from overseas are expected to visit. Please give a message to overseas fans.

"Even before this event began, many people from overseas have been coming to see the statue tour and the wrapping of Yotsugi Station.

This collaboration offers a variety of menu items including food, drinks, and desserts, so we hope you will enjoy them as well.

And after you return to Japan, I hope you will spread the word about the charms of Katsushika."

This event is a long-term project that will continue until next spring. It is structured in a way that is typical of the long-running series "Captain Tsubasa." Do you have a message for the participants, tourists, and people in the shopping district?

"This project is the first in the series, but I think it will continue to be rolled out in various locations within Katsushika Ward, allowing people to fully enjoy the charms of Katsushika.

I hope that everyone in the shopping district will take this opportunity to create even more wonderful products and continue to work hard so that many customers will continue to visit after the event period."

Now that the characters have been turned into products, what do you think of the level of accuracy when you actually try them?

"Not just the ones we ate this time, but we looked over and supervised all the products.

I think they have developed wonderful products that suit each character.

I hope many people will enjoy it."

Were there any points that you felt were particularly ingenious?

"Today, I was able to see the finished product, and it was clear that meticulous attention to detail had been paid to it, and that no corners had been cut. It was very impressive."

What were your impressions and thoughts when you first heard about this project?

"I would be very happy if my work can contribute to revitalizing the local area in this way.

There is currently a local soccer team called Nankatsu SC, and I think the players will be able to promote this collaboration.

I want to enliven Katsushika Ward as a whole region."

Please give a message to local people about how you would like them to enjoy this event.

"PR is very important for these events.

If you advertise it proactively, I think more customers will come.

I hope that local people will spread the word."

The following exchanges took place, and expectations for Professor Takahashi Yoichi's event were communicated through the media.
